Meet Me on Monday: 50th Edition

Blogging  is a funny thing...we tell our most intimate thoughts for all to read  and yet most of the time I find myself sitting and wondering, "who is  this person!?"  I know them...but yet I don't know them!  I want  to know who the person is behind all those words so I thought of a great  way for all of us to "meet" each other!

Every Sunday Never Growing Old will post five get to know you  questions that you can copy and paste into your own Monday post and we  can all learn a little more about each and every one of us!!

Java will add a linky so we can follow who participates and get to know them  better!!  Be sure to link the POST and not just your whole blog!!

Questions:

1.  What is your favorite food?
Wow.  Java is starting off with a hard one!  I don't know that I have a "favorite"; it depends on where we're eating!

2.  What color scheme is your bedroom?
Right now it's a sage green, but that may be changing once we finish remodeling our bathroom.

3.  Do you carry a donor card?
I don't have a donor card, per se.  I do have the donor box checked on the back of my license.

4.  In your opinion, is the glass half empty or half full?
I would say half full, but here what a few other people have to say (courtesy of Phil Deer (realist and cynic lines), Catherine Trafford (school teacher line), Jane Benad ('next round'):

The optimist says the glass is half full.
The pessimist says the glass is half empty.
The project manager says the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
The realist says the glass contains half the required amount of liquid for it to overflow.
And the cynic... wonders who drank the other half.
The school teacher says it's not about whether the glass is half empty or half full, it's whether there is something in the glass at all.
Anyway... Attitude is not about whether the glass is half full or half empty, it's about who is paying for the next round.

5.  Vanilla or Chocolate?
Chocolate.  I don't even have to think about it!

  1. The donor box on my license is not checked---trust issues with doctors.

  3. And I've heard it said there is no d**n glass! For me, this expression has definitely worn out its welcome.

  4. Chocolate for sure! Donor box checked on mine too. Loved the optimist/pessimist poem. I had never heard that.

  5. I loved reading what all the others said about the glass. To me it mostly means that I'm going to have to make a nother pitcher of kool-aid soon. LOL! Have a blessed day!

  9. I'm thinking about (and needing to) redo my bedroom too. Can't decide what color I want to do it in. The furniture will have to stay though, so it all has to do with paint color and bed linens. What color are you gonna choose?
