Here I am: 5:30 a.m. on a Monday with nothing clever to say. Shocking, I know. And we had such an exciting weekend, too. Showtime was free this weekend, so I was a couch potato after I realized that Dexter: Season 6 was on. I missed watching Season 5, but I was able to pretty much keep up. If you watch Dexter, could you please fill me in on what happened to his wife's children and why they don't live with him? That's pretty much the only question I have about what I missed.
See....I told you the weekend was exciting. OS went back to school on Saturday so he could work until classes start back up. MS starts classes on Wednesday, and YS went back to school last Thursday. So, it looks like things are back to semi-normal around here.
I did some reading and laundry over the weekend. My FIL spent the night with us on Friday; he was on his way up to visit my BIL and watch the National Championship Game with him. My BIL is a Bama alum, and a HUGE fan. This will be just about the only time you'll hear me say:

I missed the Meet me on Monday questions also. I always have a couple of blogs in reserve, so I didn't have to strain my brain. I'm glad you had a relaxing weekend.

My weekend was equally exciting. ;-) Drove a new van over to DD's for them to check out (they're contemplating buying a new van). Attended church and had lunch afterwards with DD & family and her dad & his wife. Other than that, watched a couple of movies and quilted. Exciting, huh? But seriously, I'm not complaining ... it was a good weekend.
WHAT!!!! We had a weekend? I must have missed it. I was in the house a grand total of maybe 8 hours. We did go to an auction on Saturday night...and it was fun.
Sounds like a perfect, relaxing weekend. Just the kind I like.
Mary! You need to start a project or hobby this winter. Something out of your comfort zone. I don't know what possessed me to write or think that LOL, but as soon as I read your blog it came to me :)
Sitting around and watching good tv and reading? Sounds perfect to me!!!

Sounds like a good weekend. We have Showtime but while I was watching The King's Speech I saw their ads on the buttom and thought it was a free weekend. I only saw one season of Dexter, it was just to bloody for me.
Ahem! I think you left out the part where you got a visit by your most dearest sister!
