Motivation...or Lack Of

I have over 2000 pictures to load onto my computer, and then look through so that I can organize them.  Then I can start the recap of the trip.
I'm just having a little bit of problem with motivation.  I'm trying to clean the house a little bit at a time, and I've done most of the laundry.  YS is on his own when it comes to doing his.  He'd better get used to it since he'll be responsible for it when he leaves for college.
When I got home, CH had a little surprise for me:
Goodbye pink tile and outdated cabinet!  I thought CH did a great job with picking everything out.  He mentioned that he was going to have it redone while I was gone, but I really didn't think he would do it.  After we got home, he kept mentioning me taking a shower or going into the bathroom for something.  I thought it was odd, but didn't think a whole lot about it.  When I went into our room, I noticed the door was closed (we usually keep it open), and I could see the transition wood under the door.  I was very surprised!  I'm loving my new bathroom!  The bathtub is still pink (just like the hall tub is still blue), but you really can't see it unless the shower curtain is open.

So...yesterday I was busy getting a couple of things for the bathroom, along with going to the grocery store & washing clothes.  Today, a trip to Lowes/Home Depot is in order for a new dryer hose & to see about finding a little plant for the shelf above the toilet. A pedi/mani is in order soon, after all of the walking I did.   And, a little more cleaning the house.  And maybe, just maybe some pictures will be loaded onto my computer.

  1. I hear that motivation problem! The more pictures I have to upload, the more overwhelmed I am and the more difficult it is to get it done. Good luck, but don't worry about getting it done in a day. There are lots of things to catch up on and it takes time.
