Marching into the Hodgepodge

Yes, I stole the title from Joyce...again.  It's much easier than trying to rack my brain to think of one.  This week's questions:

1. March 2nd is Dr. Seuss's birthday so I'm wondering...do you like green eggs and ham? Okay-how about this instead...how do you like your eggs? Or don't you?
I don't think I've ever had green eggs, but I've had ham.  And I love country ham on biscuits in the morning, but the only time I get it is when I'm at CH's Aunt Jane's house.  Give me scrambled eggs, please, unless I'm getting an omelet

2. Is March coming in like a lion or something less ferocious where you live?
March is coming in like a lamb, but Monday was CRAZY.  Tornado watches and warnings (not where I was, though), and floods.  There was film of a man kayaking down a major street in the big city Monday evening.  That's not something you see every day!
3. Do you work better or worse under pressure?
Worse.  I need time to think.

4. March Madness-are you a fan? It's college basketball in case you're wondering. And if you're outside the USA tell us-is there any sort of 'madness' taking place during March in your part of the world?
The only time I'm a fan is if UT or the Lady Vols are involved.  Once they're out, I could care less.  However, if an underdog does well, I will watch until they're out.  One year, my alma mater made it to the Sweet 16...that was a HUGE accomplishment because it's a small school.
5. Under what circumstances do you do your best thinking?
I've already established that I need time to think.  (See #3)  I do a lot of thinking while I'm driving to school or back home.  I also do quite a bit of thinking in the shower.

6. What item of clothing from your wardrobe do you wear most often?
Ummmmm....underwear. (hee, hee!)

7. Do you use sarcasm?
No, never.  (See #6...is that sarcasm?)
8. Insert your own random thought here.
We've  CH has gotten started on the hall bathroom (Where's that 'inconvenience' question when y ou need it?).  He went yesterday and got the tile.  Here's what it looks like now:
Hopefully it will all be done within the week...having 1 bathroom isn't a whole lot of fun.  At least when we had our shower tiled, we still had use of the toilet and sink!
Only in E. Tn.:

But, hey, it's not on the front porch!  :)
Don't forget to join and link up!

  1. You crack me up. I thought of "underwear" too...but made myself right a more "normal" answer. Now, I just wish I'd been funny with ya! "Worse, I need time to think!" Har har...I'm literally snickering at the computer and my family is looking at me strangely. Smiles!!

  2. We had our bathroom redone in the house we lived in before we moved here to our current home. Even though we did have a second bathroom, it was only a half bath (a very teeny, tiny half bath) and it was downstairs in the basement. Hopefully yours will be done by the end of the week as promised. ;-) Can't wait to see pictures of the finished project! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  4. Can't wait to see your new bathroom! I would love to redo ours. Picture it--harvest gold tub, maroon carpet, etc. The stuff nightmares are made of.

  5. I laughed when I read that you think in the shower! It must be an educator thing :) (see my post)

Best wishes with the bathroom rennovations--and I'm glad your toilet isn't on the porch (or in the yard like ours was!) LOL

  6. Can't wait to see the bathroom progression. I know you'll love it when it's done.

March is like a lamb here as well, but Monday sure was a doozy!

  7. Cute post! Send pics of the bath when it is done. HGTV is one of my favorite shows...I love to see what people do with their remodels.

  8. I'm so excited for March Madness! Also, my sister is quite excited for Dr. Suess' birthday. She actually has a Dr. Suess T-shirt and socks to wear. (She's a preschool teacher, so it is appropriate.)

  9. That was exciting to watch our old school play in the big leagues. I love it when an underdog does well.

We're re doing our Master Bathroom shower...we have a plumber and carpenter doing the work and they start next Wednesday. I think it is supposed to take 3 weeks. I'm looking forward to it all being done but am not looking forward to the 'doing'.

    Enjoy your day!

  13. We're hoping to put in a new shower this Spring and one of those little hot water heaters so I'll probably find out what it is like to have mine torn up...I have to go through there to get to my closet so that'll be a problem.

  15. Gosh, Mary...underwear didn't even cross my mind! BUT I definitely wear it everyday! :-)

  16. We are having to function with just one bathroom since we moved. It's just the two of us most of the time so that isn't quite so bad. It does get inconvenient though. I will be happy if our next place has an additional bathroom. Sometimes it's hard to follow the man I love after he's been in there. Oops...he might kill me for saying that. :)

  17. If not for sarcasm, I would not be able to speak or write. :)
I know the bathroom redo is a pain in the tuckus...but oh how nice when all is done!!!!
