What are you Doing New Year's Eve?

I ran across this last night while checking out twitter.  I like this just about as much as I like the Barry Manilow version.  (Yes, I said Barry Manilow.  Don't judge.)  This version is Zooey Deschanel (of "New Girl", "Failure to Launch", and "Elf" fame) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (of "500 Days of Summer", "Third Rock From the Sun", and "GI Joe" fame).

So...what are you doing New Year's Eve?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!  See you in 2012!

  1. My BIL just posted this on facebook!

We are going to the local kids' celebration and then coming home... if I get organized, I might reserve a movie on REdbox.

  3. Happy new year, Mary! We are staying home, taking down Christmas decorations, setting up baby stuff, eating pizza and going to Mass. Nothing thrilling this year :)

  5. How cute!

We're not doing anything special - we're still a bit worn out from the long drive to Michigan for Christmas! The kids are each having a friend over and making a bonfire outside and roasting marshmallows. I'll be lucky if I make it to midnight to watch the ball drop in Times Square! Today I'll be soaking black eyed peas to make Hopping John for tomorrow.

    Happy New Year to you!

  6. My sons have a huge crush on Zoey D. We're having a low-key New Year's with a few friends and lots of appetizers.

  11. Hey, I love Barry Manilow and my family gives me lots of static about it. LOL We had a very, very, laid-back, lazy New Years, which is totally fine with me. I like to party in the summer but in the winter I enjoy long, evenings at home with just "us". Happy New Years, Friend!

  12. We watched a movie and I was in bed and almost asleep by midnight. I say almost because I heard fireworks go off somewhere in town and I thought it must be midnight. I'm hopelessly old...or tired....or old AND tired. :)
