Friday Fragments

Half-Past Kissin' Time

~  I had good intentions of cleaning our bedroom yesterday, but I found other things to do.  Then it started raining, so it seemed like a good time to sit down, read a bit, and take a bit of a nap.  That's what summer break is for, right?

~  After about a year of talking about it, CH & I started a camping blog together.  It's just getting off the ground, so we'll see how it goes.
Flyin' the Coop

~  I finally got my winter clothes put up and my summer clothes out.  I really hope some of this weight comes off quickly; there were quite a few items that were just a tad too tight.

~  This commercial just warms my heart, especially the last little girl at around 18 seconds:

~  Remember to check out other frags at Mrs. 4444's!

  1. I don't change winter and summer clothes anymore I have the impression that it is the same temperature all year long with some up and downs. Not worthwhile to have two different places for summer and winter clothes.

  3. That is a sweet commercial. I know what you mean about some of the clothes being a bit tight. I'm trying to get my walking started again, which I hope will help with that. I love the name of your new camping blog. Good one!

    Have a great weekend!

  4. I finally got my summer clothes out but not for home. We had to travel south to wear them.

  6. It's always nice to sleep when it's raining. In fact, it's storming right now and I can barely keep my eyes open!!

  7. I'm glad that you were able to get in a little relaxing time ... when I saw your list, I worried that you weren't going to take it easy this summer. ;-)

I don't put away my winter clothes because too often I have to wear my winter clothes when we go places (like to church). I have so many nice summer clothes that I never get to wear. :-(

  8. What fun doing a blog together. I will check it out.
Its still cold here in the Philadelphia area. We did have a few warmer days but we aren't safe putting winter away til July. I actually just use the other closet, the only switch is the amount of steps I take to the closet.
    Have a great weekend!

  10. I am in the middle of the flip from winter to summer clothes myself. But yes, when the rain moves in, it makes me want tea, a good book, and a nap.
