Poor Blog

This poor blog has been so neglected of late! There has been so much going on, and I've just been so incredibly tired; I just haven't felt like giving it the attention it needs/deserves. I need to suck it up and check Bloglovin' 'cause I'm waaay behind reading, too.
I grabbed my camera last week and just sat outside. I managed to catch this woodpecker that I've seen on the birdfeeders:

And, of course, those cardinals that still bring me so much comfort:
I managed to get this female just as she was flying away:
Spring is just beautiful around here:

There's just something about a Dogwood; don't you agree?
Hopefully I can get back in the groove soon! Thanks for bearing with me!

  1. Girl, I feel your pain! My blogging has been hit and miss since August. That's a first since I began in 2006. Summer is fast approaching though!

  2. I hear you! I've been in this same state for over a year. Think we shall return. (Love cardinals, too--always remind me of my mom!)

  3. Our dogwood was in full bloom over the weekend, and I could hardly pull myself away from the kitchen window (we planted it so we would see it out the kitchen window ... makes working at the sink a little more enjoyable - at least in the spring). Sometimes life just gets so busy that blogging has to take a back seat.

  5. I know what you mean! My poor blog is dying a slow death from lack of attention. I hope life will slow down for you soon :) Oh, I loved your bird pictures!

  7. I thought of you Saturday. In the van with 3 of the kids, I was telling them that Sunday's mass was being offered for Grandpa Bill. In the exact moment, a cardinal flew right across the windshield!

  10. While I was travelling, I got lots of cool ideas but such poor wifi service, it was almost impossible to post. Things got stagnant. I'm back home, on track and once again enjoying writing and taking photos to share. There are seasons in life. Don't feel badly that your blog was neglected, you were doing real life. Good on you.
